LAUNCH

A summer-before-college program for neurodiverse students who want to thrive in college from DAY 1.

Register for Summer ‘26 Now

Unfortunately, college was not designed with all students in mind…

The University of California found that only 58% of college students with ADHD, autism, or other executive function challenges graduate. ¹

That’s because most neurodiverse students are never taught how to “do college” in ways that work for their unique brains. That can lead to feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, and less confident, which often translates to lower grades and, ultimately, withdrawal.

But it doesn’t have to be that way.

We want to partner with your student and equip them with proven systems for success, including:

How to study for college-level exams

How to read and take notes effectively

How to plan out a successful semester

How to find the right people for support

We know how it feels…

We've seen it countless times: bright, capable students who get to college only to realize that the skills that got them through high school don’t work in college-level courses.

We know because we lived it personally and have helped thousands of students through the same experience.

We’re Edward, a UCLA dropout turned university learning center pro, and Paul, a scattered student turned credentialed teacher.

We both learned the hard way how to beat the odds and survive college, but too many students aren’t as lucky.

That's why we created LAUNCH: a college transition program that combines the latest student success research with our training and experiences so your student can avoid the pain, shame, and self-doubt we felt and instead thrive starting Day 1.

We offer LAUNCH in two formats to suit your students’ needs and preferences:

We’ll help your student start college strong by learning and implementing four essential college success systems, covering studying, reading/note-taking, planning, and building their support system.

LAUNCH

Best for self-motivated students who prefer independent learning with occasional support in group settings.

Launch includes unlimited access to:

  • Lifetime access to a collection of pre-recorded workshops so students can learn new skills on their own schedule and timeline.

  • A weekly drop-in session for extra help, accountability, and collaboration with expert coaches, through Aug. 14, 2026.

Office hour days/times rotate to accommodate a variety of schedules, but always occur during standard business hours in Central Time.

  • Implement new skills through guided activities, including:

    • Conducting a study process audit

    • Mapping out an anticipated reading/study schedule

    • Developing their Fall 2026 calendar

    • Identifying critical contacts for first-semester success

Total Investment: $150

LAUNCH +

Best for students who want personalized support and increased accountability with a coach.

LAUNCH Plus includes:

    • 4 On-Demand Workshops

    • 2x Weekly “Ask Me Anything” Office Hours

    • Hands-On Activities

  • Meet with a coach for three, 30-min, 1:1 sessions throughout the summer for maximum learning and accountability.

  • Chat with a coach between sessions for quick questions, updates, or accountability check-ins.

  • A group session for the student and family to meet with the coach and review progress and strategize for a successful transition to fall semester.

  • Families have the opportunity to be refunded their Launch + tuition as credit toward future coaching packages when their student completes all requirements:

    • Watch all four workshops

    • Complete the four required activities

    • Attend all three coaching sessions on time

    • Attend the Family Strategy Call

Total Investment: $500

Have questions?

  • LAUNCH is a curated, science-backed system that distills years of research and experience into a clear summer roadmap. We save your student the time of figuring it all out themselves and provide the community and accountability needed to motivate them to take action on what they learn, building a lifelong framework that will follow them well after graduation.

  • Success in our program requires a commitment from the student to show up and do the work. We provide expert coaching, proven strategies, and interactive exercises to make success possible, but we cannot force students to engage or take action.

Joining Alma Modern does not guarantee results, including, but not limited to: Earning better grades, turning in all assignments on time, graduating from college, landing an internship, etc.

That said, we are committed to providing students with everything they need to thrive in school, and we'll be there to encourage them every step of the way.

  • LAUNCH is a powerful and comprehensive experience that's a great fit for many students.

    In general…

LAUNCH is ideal for students who are aware of their areas for growth and are self-motivated to learn new skills to address them. They also want consistent, affordable support and accountability delivered within a group setting.

LAUNCH + is best for students who want highly personalized support and accountability to address specific, complex challenges and goals.

  • We offer a flexible schedule to accommodate a variety of student schedules. Office hours are held on rotating days/times during standard business hours (Central Time) each week.

Coaching sessions are scheduled directly with the coach to accommodate students’ schedules.

  • While we don't have a strict age requirement, our program is designed for late high school students (grades 11-12) through second-year college students.

We've found that students younger than this range are not ready to learn and implement the strategies we teach, especially in a community setting.

More advanced students (upper-division college and graduate) typically benefit more from working 1:1 with a coach who can directly address their more complex needs and situations.

  • Student success is our top priority, so our programs and content are structured with your student's growth in mind. Once enrolled in LAUNCH, you have immediate access to our content, coaching, and community. As a result, all LAUNCH purchases are non-refundable.

However, if you’re ever feeling dissatisfied with your experience on campus, reach out, and we’ll work together to ensure your student has everything they need to make the most of their time with us.

  • We would love to answer any other questions you may have and help you determine if Alma Modern is the right fit for your son. Please schedule a free Strategy Session with us.
