The gap between a student’s potential and their grades doesn’t mean they don't care; it’s proof they aren’t doing school in a way that leverages their unique strengths and interests.
This disconnect may show up as:
Mismatched methods: They choose ineffective study strategies that make exams and assignments harder.
Flawed systems: They lack a process for managing tasks and submitting everything on time.
Negative perceptions: They believe they just “aren’t good at school”, which kills their motivation.
